Trinity Fund Ahead of Goal for the Year

We are pleased to announce that the university's Trinity Fund, which annually provides students with scholarships, campus technology, excellent faculty, and athletic and library resources, has exceeded its goal for the month of December, reaching $641,576, which is 5.7% above the projected goal of $606,752. This brings overall giving for the year (excluding a special bequest) to $1,114,855, exceeding the Trinity Fund's year-to-date goal of $1,082,690 by 3%. We are thankful for the confident and faithful commitment of our donors, whose sincere belief and support in the mission of the university is deeply valued.

It is always our expectation to meet our monthly financial goals, but in a time of national economic and financial hardship, to exceed our goals is a very great blessing. The unexpectedly high volume of smaller gifts that we received, and the increased giving by many of our regular donors, speaks volumes about Trinity's value to our alumni and friends. Please continue to pray for the university and its leadership as we continually seek to be godly stewards of the resources God has given us in this difficult economic time.
