Wednesday, September 26, 2007 – The Board of Directors of the Trinity International Foundation signed an agreement this week to sell Trinity’s South Florida-based Christian radio station 89.7 Spirit FM to a nonprofit broadcast company.
Pending approval by the FCC, the sale should be complete in the next several months. The last day of broadcasting will be Sunday, September 30, 2007.
We would like to extend our deep gratitude to the 89.7 Spirit FM staff for their years of ministry to the South Florida area, and pray for God’s grace on them as the enter a new chapter in their lives.
Be assured that the mission of the Trinity Florida Regional Center will continue, and classes and programs will not be affected by this sale. The funds received from this sale will be used to expand and strengthen the educational mission of the university.
