General Education and Elective Credit

In order to obtain a bachelor's degree through the REACH Program, you must earn 126 semester hours of credit, though students often transfer in many of their credits. This consists of three distinct categories: General Education, Program of Study, and Electives.  

  

General Education (45 credits)

To guarantee a well-rounded liberal arts education, students must earn 45 credit hours of general education credit distributed in the following way:

IDS 105R Foundations of Adult Learning    3 credits
Biblical Studies    6 credits
Psychology   3 credits
Social Sciences   6 credits
Humanities  12 credits
College Writing   6 credits
Science   3 credits
Math or Computer Science   3 credits
Intercultural Study    3 credits

Electives (27-45 credits)

Elective credit is required in order to satisfy the 126-credit requirement for graduation. Electives can be met by taking:
