New GroupWise Accounts
Greetings from Trinity's Information Technology Department! We are pleased to offer service and support to the REACH community. The purpose of this document is to introduce and help you gain access to your GroupWise account.
Note to Previous Users
The login information provided in the letter issued through the REACH office is the ORIGINAL GroupWise username and password you were issued by IT to access the library's online databases. If you have previously accessed those online databases, then you most likely have already personalized your GroupWise password. In this case, the account password listed above is obsolete; you should use the password you created.
Login Assistance
If you need your GroupWise password reset or if you can't login, your request will be assigned URGENT priority: Email us at gwhelp@tiu.edu or call us toll-free at 877-339-9487.
To help us verify your identification, please include:
- Your full legal name
- Student ID number
- The last four digits of your social security number
- Your birth date
- Personal non-TIU email address
Remote Access
Your GroupWise username and password provides access to other popular services, including:
- The library's online databases http://www.tiu.edu/library
- Web-based email access http://mail.tiu.edu/
- Password management http://vo.tiu.edu/
- Moodle Course Manage http://webapps.tiu.edu/moodle
- My Trinity Portal http://mytrinity.tiu.edu/
GroupWise Client Version
We recommend installing the "client" version of GroupWise, available by logging into MyTrinity and accessing the Downloads page off of the Information Technology Homepage. GroupWise client is more robust and faster than the pure web version. Other helpful programs include McAfee anti-virus and GroupWise Messenger.
