There is no prescribed sequence of seminar courses, except for ST 9100 and 9110. Students are expected to plan course selection with their faculty advisor. Comprehensive exam preparation and dissertation: 12 hours __ 9975 Comprehensive Exam Preparation 3 hours __ 9990 Dissertation Proposal Seminar 3 hours __ 9991 Dissertation Research 6 hours THS participants may take either one semester (3 credit hours) or two semesters (2 credit hours for the first semesters and 1 credit hour for the second semester) of Comprehensive Exam Preparation(s) to meet the 3-hour requirement and between two and six dissertation research courses to meet the 6-hour requirement.
