Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition
Regular tuition for the 2009-2010 academic year is $345 per semester hour of credit. Cost for course materials is in addition to tuition cost.
Scholarship Eligibility
-
Students charged the DE rate are not eligible for scholarship aid from the financial aid office (note that the DE rate is already approximately 50% less than the campus rate).
-
Students carrying a full Deerfield course load are eligible to apply for scholarship aid, provided they are accepted in a degree program.
Student Loan Eligibility
In order for students to receive federal loans student must meet the following requirements:
-
must be a degree seeking student (not visiting)
-
must be taking courses toward their degree
-
must be registered for at least 5 credit hours in the semester
-
must complete a FAFSA
Note the following:
-
A student may meet the 5 credit hours requirement in a semester by a combination of Deerfield and DE classes or in DE alone.
-
Loan eligibility is determined by a number of factors, including tuition charges.
-
In addition to completing the FAFSA, students should contact the Financial Aid Office regarding their desire for loans.
-
Any change in enrollment will affect a student’s loan eligibility. If a student reduces their course load below 5 hours, any loan money received will be returned.
